Pride in practice at St Stephen's Health Centre
Are you part of the LGBTQ+ community or are you looking for more information to support someone who is?
St Stephen’s Health Centre is committed to providing high quality and inclusive care for everyone in our wonderfully diverse community. As part of that commitment, we recently started working with Pride in Practice, an organisation that helps GP practices to improve services for the LGBTQ+ community. Our reception and clinical staff have now received additional training on inclusive language and LGBTQ+ specific health issues and barriers to healthcare, and we continue to work on other ways in which we can improve our service.
A great way to share your experiences and constructive feedback on the practice is through our patient participation group. It's really important to us that this group reflects the opinions and experiences of our whole community. If you think you might be interested, please see more information here
